They are located close to river and the Portland Streetcar which connects to Tri-Met’s MAX Yellow line in downtown Portland at the Library stop. The same fair will cover your ride for both city trains, making getting to the festival an easy trip.
We thought it may be handy to have a list of some hotels close to the Tri-Met MAX Yellow Line, and/or in North Portland, for our visitors coming in from out of town. I found just such a resource on the Overlook House’s website that lists exactly that.
Though you should keep in mind that the MAX Yellow Line doesn’t go into Vancouver, Washington. But it does connect with the other MAX lines (Red & Blue). Making a hotel choice near a Tri-Met MAX line the easy choice. Heck, you can ride the MAX Red Line into the city from the Airport as well. There are also several Motels located on Interstate Ave. right on the MAX Yellow Line and with in walking distance to Overlook Park.
